Babu No.1 Bullshit Guy Movie Review

'Babu No.1 Bullshit Guy' is a film directed by Lakshmana Varma. It stars Bigg Boss fame Arjun Kalyan and Kushita Kalapu in  lead roles. DD Creations has produced this entertainer. Here is our review of the movie:

Story:

Karthik Babu (Arjun Kalyan) is a rich guy who returns to India after studying in America. He owns a villa on the outskirts of the city at a time when the coronavirus pandemic strikes the globe. His father (Ravi Varma) suggests that he should stay in that villa for some years. Karthik decides to do so with his girlfriend Kushita (Kushita Kallapu).

The duo plan to get married soon. Due to the lockdown, they arrange all the goods and settle down in the villa for a few days. Meanwhile, Sombabu, who enters the villa in the guise of a plumber, holds them captive in the bungalow. How did Karthik and Kushita get out of this trap? What are the reasons for their captivity? That's what the film is all about.

Analysis:

This film comes with a small plot but the screenplay is engaging. The audience can manage to sit through for the entire stretch of two hours. There are both funny and serious scenes. Tension and comedy have been blended well. The director was inspired by some real-life incidents, it seems. Sombabu lives in the bungalow with his family. What are the motives of the different characters in the villa? What are their moralities all about? These questions have been explored so grippingly. The film also delivers a small message in the climax.

The second half ends with some family drama and action as the toppings.

The story and screenplay have been tailored to impress the family audience as much as the youngsters. Audiences from all walks of life can enjoy the scenes. The director-Sonali Panigrahi's combination scenes are enjoyable.

Technical Departments:

PS Manikarnan's cinematography is nice.  Pawan's music is good. The songs are good. Producer Dandu Dilip Kumar Reddy made the film without any compromises. The making values are very high.

Performances:

Arjun Kalyan and Kushita share a strong chemistry. The latter has been such an Instagram star. Arjun Kalyan acted to the best of his abilities. Arjun acted very energetically. He looked very handsome in most of the scenes. Sonali Panigrahi acted as his partner and impressed the audience a great deal.

Some romantic scenes are very impressive to the youth. Even the actor who played the male lead's younger brother did a good job. Comedian Bhadram appeared here and there for a while and delivered a few laughs. Jabardasth Apparao's role is also okay. Ravi Varma, seen in the role of the hero's father, impressed as always with his mark.
