Actress-Turned-Politician Kangana Meets Dalai Lama in Dharamshala,See Pics

Bollywood actress-turned-politician Kangana Ranaut recently had the opportunity to meet the Tibetan spiritual leader, the Dalai Lama, in Dharamshala. Ranaut described the encounter as a "privilege and honour," sharing her excitement on social media.

"Aaj Dharmshaala mein His Holiness Dalai Lama ji se bhent hue (Today, we met the spiritual Dalai Lama in Dharamshala), it was one of the most memorable moments of my life," Ranaut wrote on Instagram, accompanied by pictures from the meeting.

The former Himachal Pradesh chief minister and senior BJP leader Jai Ram Thakur also joined Kangana during the visit. Reflecting on the experience, the actress-turned-politician told ANI, "It was amazing. I'll always remember it. Being near someone so divine is extraordinary. It was emotional for me and ex-CM (Jairam Thakur). I'll treasure it forever."

Ranaut is gearing up to contest the upcoming Lok Sabha election from Himachal Pradesh's Mandi constituency on a BJP ticket. The actress is also awaiting the release of her film "Emergency," in which she portrays the role of former Prime Minister Indira Gandhi.
