Actress Jim Ji Yeon To Get a Lead Role in a Historical Drama for the First Time

With the success of the Netflix K-Drama The Glory, actress Lim Ji Yeon gained recognition and received praises for her outstanding performance. Lim Ji Yeon will appear in a historical Korean drama soon.

Lim Ji Yeon will star in JTBC's upcoming historical K-Drama "The Story of Lady Ok," according to an exclusive report from StarNews published on May 17. She will portray the female lead, a lowly servant's daughter who rises to power after marrying a nobleman, inspiring envy and admiration from others. The programme offers an engaging tale of a woman servant's struggle and triumph during the Joseon era.

In her 12-year career, Lim Ji Yeon will make her main leading character debut in 'The Story of Lady Ok.' She has proven to be a versatile actor in previous productions like Money Heist: Korea - Joint Economic Area and The Glory, and we can't wait to witness her new charms in the forthcoming historical Korean drama.

In addition to The Story of Lady Ok, Lim Ji Yeon will also appear in SBS's National Death Penalty Vote and ENA's Lies Hidden in My Garden. Lies Hidden in My Garden will premiere on June 19 and feature top actress Kim Tae Hee.
