CollegeDekho and Guinness Record holder come together to power a better future for India

CollegeDekho, India’s largest higher education guidance and admissions ecosystem is supporting a drive to create awareness about sustainable energy. In this latest endeavour to build a better future, it is supporting Sushil Reddy, Guinness World Record Holder for the longest journey on an electric bicycle (Solar Powered) in India as part of solar energy and electric mobility awareness cause - The SunPedal Ride. 

As part of the cause’s latest initiative, CollegeDekho shall be supporting Sushil while he travels from Kanyakumari to Kashmir, covering a distance of around 5000+ KM using an electric vehicle. He’ll make some detours on his route to interact with students across the country. Sushil visited some prominent colleges in Hyderabad like IIT-Hyderabad, BITS-Pilani, IIIT and IIHM where he conducted seminars while sharing his experience and talking about the importance of e-mobility and choosing sustainable alternatives. 

CollegeDekho began in 2015 with the vision to create a globally trusted student guidance ecosystem. Keeping in line with its vision, the company aims to not only guide the youth on education but also create awareness about following sustainable practices that benefit the environment as both education and sustainability are important pillars for powering a better future for India. Partnering with the SunPedal Ride, CollegeDekho aims to spread awareness amongst students about energy conservation methods to improve the environment and energy conservation, while presenting important facts about solar energy through talks in universities, colleges, and even small communities.

Sushil Reddy commenced his journey from Kanyakumari on 13th March and reached Hyderabad after spending time with students at multiple places along the way. His next destination is Nasik.
