Video: Toddler Crushed to Death by SUV Car in Apartment Parking Lot in Hyderabad

Hyderabad: In a chilling incident, a 3-year-old girl died after being run over by an SUV in the parking area of a residential building in Hyderabad on Wednesday. The incident was recorded in a CCTV camera installed in the basement of the building. 

According to details, a migrant labourer Kavitha had entered the apartment building’s parking area as it was hot outside. She had put her baby Lakshmi to sleep on the floor and wrapped her with a cloth. Later, the accused car driver Hari Krishna entered the building and headed to park his car in the corner of the parking space and inadvertently ran over the girl. The baby was crushed to death. 

After receiving a complaint, the Hayathnagar Police have filed a case and launched an investigation into the unfortunate incident.

In a similar incident, a 16-month-old toddler was crushed to death after being run over by a garbage collection van in Hyderabad on March 28. The incident took place in the RTC Colony of  Moula Ali area when the baby, identified as Mohammed Razzak, was playing outside his house and the child came under the wheels when the driver attempted to reverse his vehicle to navigate the lane.
