Seven People, Including 2 Children Killed in Gujarat Road Accident
ANAND: Two children and seven adults were killed in a horrific road accident after the car in which they were traveling collided with a goods-carrying truck near Indranaj village in Gujarat's Anand district on Wednesday morning.
As per reports the two children, who were in the age group of three to five years and among the adults two women also died in the accident..
The car was badly damaged that the bodies of all the victims had to be extricated from the mangled car, officials said. The victims were from Bhavnagar in Gujarat's Saurashtra region and were on their way back home from Maharashtra.
The truck was going in the opposite direction, from Morbi in Saurashtra towards south Gujarat when the accident happened.
Gujarat Chief Minister Vijay Rupani and Union Home Minister Amit Shah expressed grief over the incident.
