Sangam Dairy: AP High Court Rejects TDP Dhulipalla Narendra's Quash Petition
AMARAVATI: Telugu Desam Party senior leader and Sangam Dairy chairman Dhulipalla Narendra Kumar faced a setback in the Andhra Pradesh High Court on Thursday, when it struck down his quash petition. Justice R. Raghunandan Rao directed the Anti-Corruption Bureau (ACB) to submit a counter affidavit by May 5 and adjourned the matter.

Narendra had earlier filed a petition in the High Court seeking to strike down the FIR registered against him by the ACB.
He was arrested for alleged financial irregularities in Sangam Dairy in Vadlamudi, Guntur district and was sent to Rajahmundry Central Jail on remand along with two others accused in the same case by the Special Judge for ACB on April 23. The ACB sought custody of the former Ponnur MLA Narendra, who is A1 in the Sangam Dairy financial and administrative irregularities case along with the Managing Director P Gopala Krishnan and M Gurunadham former District Cooperative Officer.
