Padmarao Nagar: Morning Walker Steps On Live Wire, Dies

Hyderabad: A morning walk on Friday turned tragic for a man at GHMC park in Padmaraonagar in Secunderabad when the walked died on the spot due to electrocution after he stamped a live wire.

According to police officials, the accident took place at around 6 am when Praveen Mudhiraj (40) residing in Parsigutta had gone for a morning walk as his daily routine. Due to the heavy rains that lashed the city on Thursday night a live electric wire had fallen on the ground and went unnoticed. Praveen stamped the wire leading to electrocution and he died on the spot.

A few locals on their morning walk noticed him on the ground and immediately alerted the police. The victim’s body was shifted to a nearby hospital, a case was registered, and is under investigation.
