Nigerian Who Played Drug Peddler in Singam Repeats Act in Real Life

Do you remember Danny Sapani in the Tamil blockbuster movie ‘Singam 2’? To the unversed, the Nigerian Chekuwame Malvin played the drug trafficker role who gets caught by hero Suriya in the movie.

Now, Chekuwame repeated the same in real life after he was caught by the Bengaluru police for allegedly peddling drugs.

According to the police reports, Malwin was allegedly supplying narcotic substances to students and some businessmen in Bengaluru. He was caught red handed by the police and 15 grams of MMDA aka ‘ecstasy or ‘molly’ and 250 ml of hashish oil worth Rs 8 lakh, a mobile phone, and cash of Rs 2,500 were recovered from him.

Police registered a case against Malwin under sections of Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act 1985.

Meanwhile, netizens started trolling the actor and the director of the film as the news spread on social media.

Chekuwame Malwin had also acted in movies like ‘Anna Bond’, ‘Paramathma’, Kamal Haasan’s ‘Vishwaroopam’, Hindi film ‘Dilwale’ and some others. Police said that he has been living in India with a medical visa.
