Hyderabad Girl Jumps To Death From Tech Mahindra Building

A 21-year-old techie jumped to death from the sixth floor of Tech Mahindra building in Hyderabad. The incident took place under the Gopalapuram police station limits on Thursday.  According to Inspector Sai Ishwar Gowda, Rangan Govindaraj, a textile trader from Namalgunda Upparabasti, and Sheela have three daughters. Elder daughter Sushmita (21) joined the company on October 30. 

According to her family, she underwent training for two weeks and began to work as an associate (customer support) on November 13. Every day, Govindaraj would drop Sushmita at the office at 9.30 am. On a fateful day, Sushmitha reached the office at 9.30 am and went to the canteen at 9.40 am on the sixth floor and from there to the washroom. She is later said to have gone to the room next to the washroom and suddenly jumped from the window which did not have any grills. By the time executives reached, she was dead. The body was taken to the Gandhi Mortuary for post-mortem. The reasons for her suicide are not known. A case was registered and the police are investigating.

In the police investigation, it emerged that the deceased had told her sister two days ago that she did not want to live. The police are investigating to find if there was any love angle to the end.
