Chittoor Road Accident: Lorry Mows Down Pilgrims

In a tragic road accident, a speeding lorry mowed over pilgrims  who were trekking  toTirupati from Chennai at Vadamalapeta cross roads on Sunday morning.

One person is said to have died and, nine people were injured in the accident.

The wounded persons were immediately rushed to Tirupati RUIA hospital for treatment.
