Bodies Of Missing Amalapuram Youth Found In Godavari At Mummidivaram

The tragedy took place in the East Godavari district. Three youths who went missing in Amalapuram have been found dead in the Godavari. Kudipudi Premsagar (17), Mamidisetti Balavenkata Ramana (19), and D. Phanikumar (19) from Amalapuram Rural Zone Shettypeta are three friends. The trio went for a swim at Gedellanka North Vahini Pushkara port in Mummidivaram Mandal on Wednesday and got lost in the Godavari.

Relatives lodged a complaint at the Amalapuram Rural Police Station after they had not been seen since Wednesday afternoon.

A young man was found dead and floating in Gedellanka Godavari in Mummidivaram Mandal on Thursday. While calling the phone number of the youth, a cattle herder picked up the phone. He said that there were clothes and phones at Godavari Pushkara port. Later, a corpse was found in the river.

Vigilant police went to the spot and found the body of a young man. Two more dead bodies were later found. Their bodies were taken to the hospital for postmortem.
