BSNL Diwali Offer: 90pc Discount in Monthly Rentals For New Fiber Connections

BSNL Diwali Offer: As part of its Diwali promotion, government-owned PSU Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) will provide new Fiber subscribers up to a 90% discount. The new offer began on November 1 and will remain in force until January 2022. BSNL will provide a 90 per cent discount on all new Bharat Fiber connections activated in November 2021, amounting to a savings of up to Rs 500. In their first month's bill, the internet service provider would give them a maximum discount of Rs 500. Except in the Andaman and Nicobar circles, the foregoing guidelines would be in effect for a promotional period of 90 days in all telecom circles.

BSNL has recently reintroduced a Rs 399 entry-level fibre broadband service. The plan provides a download speed of 30 Mbps up to 1000GB of data use. When the available bandwidth is depleted, the speed is decreased to 2 Mbps. The package is offered for a 90-day promotional period. After six months, subscribers will be switched to the Fiber Basic Rs. 449 plan. Unlimited voice calls to any network are included with the Fiber Experience at no additional cost. The package includes unlimited phone calls to any network at no extra cost.

Furthermore, BSNL has discontinued its Rs 99 postpaid plan, and existing users on the Rs 99 BSNL mobile plan have been transferred to plan 199, which is the next higher plan. The BSNL postpaid mobile bill issued in October 2021 includes an extra security deposit of Rs 100 as a one-time payment and a monthly rental of Rs 199 as a fixed monthly charge, according to Kerala Telecom.
