BTS ARMY Celebrates BTS’ 10th Anniversary

Fans celebrate BTS’ 10-year anniversary - Sakshi Post

SEOUL:  BTS ARMY gathered on Monday to mark the boy band's debut ten year anniversary in the heart of South Korean capital Seoul.

Many of the group's dedicated worldwide fans, known as "ARMY," gathered in Seoul this week despite the fact that the group is on hiatus and two of its members have begun mandatory military service.

After paving the way for K-Pop's global success, particularly in the U.S. music charts and industry recognition, the seven-member group gained a massive international fan base.

Numerous BTS fans from France, Mexico, and other countries gathered to enjoy the sites including Seoul City Hall and Namsan Tower were lit up in the group's signature purple colour.

Organisations and companies are also participating in the celebration, and the city of Seoul is collaborating with BTS' management agency HYBE to organise a tour of BTS-related locations. For the anniversary of BTS' debut, South Korea's postal service issued special commemorative stamps.

Businesses including Hyundai Department Store, Lotte Shopping's Lotte Cinema, and S-Oil have started to provide special offers or events.

The festivities are anticipated to reach its end on Saturday when BTS leader RM is anticipated to greet fans, followed by fireworks near the Han River, which bisects Seoul.

"Thank you for teaching us a little, or maybe even too much, about happiness and love," member Jungkook said to the ARMY on Twitter on Sunday. "I want to walk with you all for the next ten years as well," he added.
