BTS 2023 Festa: BTS Jungkook’s Words Made The ARMYs Emotional
The nearly three-week-long BTS FESTA 2023 celebrations came to an end as BTS vocalist Jeon Jungkook set up a spectacular fireworks display. The singer, who is presently in Los Angeles for a global tour, provided the narration for the Seoul fireworks display, moving many to tears. As the sky filled with fireworks and some of BTS' biggest hits, including Boy With Luv, Butterfly, Spring Day, DNA, Idol, Fake Love, Mic Drop, and Run BTS, played in between his narration, Jungkook engaged the ARMYs and reflected on their 10-year journey together.
"I'm BTS Jungkook," he greeted the crowd before the special fireworks show. "We have been with you for ten years now. The boring summer has changed into something hopeful as we have spent year after year with ARMY. Given that this is a wonderful event, we would like to brighten our summer night with beautiful fireworks while also expressing our love and gratitude. I'm hoping that the fireworks will make everyone who supports us happier today. Should we begin now?"
"BTS Presents Everywhere" is the slogan for FESTA. What is the BTS like in your memory? For us, the first memories we have are of the times we performed as a group when at concerts. Shall we lighten up Yeouido's night sky in the same way we did then? From now on, let's have a blast!" he exclaimed.
Fans were moved to tears by Jungkook's final words, "Like how the fireworks light up the dark night in a beautiful way, thank you for lighting up our nights brightly when we had nothing," they had really enjoyed the entire show.
On Twitter, numerous fans acknowledged that what was said had brought them to tears.
Along with presenting the fireworks show, Jungkook made news earlier in the day when he called RM pretending to be a fan and somewhat managed to fool him. ‘It's 5 PM, I'm Kim Namjun’, the Golden Maknae called Namjoon during his special radio show-style concert.
