Indian Govt Invites Bid to Build New Prime Minister's Office in Delhi

The government has invited pre-qualification bids for the new Prime Minister's Office. According to the Central Public Works Department, the new PMO, as well as other amenities in an "executive enclave" on the south side of the South Block, would cost Rs. 1,171 crores (CPWD). Existing structures on the property will be destroyed before new development begins.
