Aishwarya's Look in Ponniyin Selvan Leaked, Mani Ratnam Tightens Rules on Sets

Bollywood actress Aishwarya Rai's role in her upcoming movie, Ponniyin Selvan, has kept the audience under wraps for a long time. However, pictures of Aishwarya Rai in the movie have been leaked online and the photos have gone viral on social media platforms. In the photos, we can see Aishwarya in a red saree with heavy necklaces, bangles, earrings, maang tikaa, and other ornaments.

It is learnt that the director is mighty upset over the leaks and is planning to tighten rules on the sets. As per reports, Aishwarya plays the dual role of Nandini and her mother Mandakini. Nandini is the film's major antagonist. Directed by Mani Ratnam. Ponniyin Selvan is an upcoming epic historical action-drama film written, directed, and co-produced by Mani Ratnam, under his production studio Madras Talkies, along with Allirajah Subaskaran under the banner Lyca Productions. 

The film is co-written by Ratnam along with Elango Kumaravel and B. Jeyamohan. The movie stars Vikram, Aishwarya Rai Bachchan, Trisha, Karthi, Jayaram, Jayam Ravi, and Aishwarya Lekshmi, while Prabhu, Sarathkumar, Vikram Prabhu, and Sobhita Dhulipala appear in supporting roles. The film's music was composed by A. R. Rahman, with cinematography handled by Ravi Varman, and editing by A. Sreekar Prasad. It is an adaptation of Kalki Krishnamurthy's 1955 novel of the same name.
