YSRCP Sweeps Local Body MLC Elections

The ruling YSRCP has won the four local bodies constituencies– Kurnool, Srikakulam and West Godavari. YSRCP-backed candidate Narthu Ramarao won by 632 votes against independent candidate Anepu Ramakrishna (108 votes), who is supported by the Telugu Desam Party.

Another victory has been added to YSRCP’s account. YSRCP candidate Kavuru Srinivas won the West Godavari district MLC elections by 418 votes against its rivals.

Rival Vanka Ravindra got a total 460 votes. While the independent candidate got 122 votes, 25 invalid votes were recorded out of 1088 votes. 

Another YSRCP candidate Dr. Madhusudan won the Kurnool district local body elections. He won with a majority of 988 votes..
