YSRCP Leader Sailaja Charan Reddy Ties Golden Rakhi to CM YS Jagan

Chittoor: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy on Tuesday fulfilled his yet another promise he had made to the people of the state during his padayatra ahead of the 2019 general elections. He laid the foundation stone for revival of the Chittoor Cooperative Dairy. Gujarat-based Amul Dairy will invest Rs. 385 crore in the dairy project. The Chittoor-based Vijaya dairy was closed down during the previous TDP government.

During the foundation stone laying ceremony, YSRCP leader Sailaja Charan Reddy caught the attention of the gathering when she went up the stage and tied a golden rakhi to the chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. After tying the rakhi, Sailaja Reddy, who is also the Regional Chairperson of the Rayalaseema Women and Child Welfare Department, said this golden thread is nothing for the man with a golden heart. The chief minister acknowledged the admiration by giving his blessings to her.
