YSRCP Finalises 3 Candidates for Rajya Sabha

 - Sakshi Post

Tadepalli: Ruling YSRCP has finalised the names of candidates for the three Rajya Sabha seats that will fall vacant in Andhra Pradesh. The chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy seems to have cleared the names of party candidates for the Upper House of the Parliament.

Current Rajya Sabha members from the state Vemireddy Prabhakar Reddy (YSRCP), CM Ramesh and Kanakamedala Ravindra Kumar (TDP) are retiring soon which necessitates the Rajya Sabha polls for these soon-to-be falling vacant seats. In the wake of the present political situation, the ruling YSRCP party is expected to win all the three seats.

This time, the YS Jagan-led party appears to have given an opportunity to an SC candidate for the upcoming Rajya Sabha polls. The party has already given proper representation to the BC community in the state cabinet. The party will soon announce the names of the shortlisted candidates for the Rajya Sabha election.
