YS Jagan’s Tiruvur visit: CM to release 4th tranche of Jagananna Vidya Deevena tomorrow
Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will visit Tiruvur in NTR district on Sunday where he will attend a programme and provide financial assistance under Jagananna Vidya Deevena for eligible students.
As part of the Jagananna Vidya Deevena scheme, the chief minister will deposit the fourth tranche of funds in the accounts of students' mothers. A total of Rs 700 crore will be credited in the bank accounts of mothers of nearly 11 lakh students. Later, he will address a massive public meeting, YSRCP party leaders said.
Speaking to media persons, YSRCP legislator Vellampalli Srinivasa Rao said after becoming the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Jagan has made revolutionary changes in the field of education in the state. He asserted that the YSRCP government has developed the government schools on par with the corporate schools.
