YS Jagan Govt Strikes Balance Between Welfare and Development
Amaravati: Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy kept his date with the welfare calendar and released funds besides laying foundation stones for developmental activities, launching Jaganannaku Chebudam, the improvised platform of solving people’s grievances, Spandana and the four years of Governance was celebrated across the State.
Government released Rs 87.32 crore under YSR Kalyanamasthu and Shadi Tohfa, Rs.123.52 crore for YSR Matsyakara Bharosa and Rs.703 crore for Jagananna Vidya Deevena showing its welfare priority.
By laying foundation stones for a slew of developmental works in Vizag, Bhogapuram International airport and Adani Data Centre apart from launching the Rs.5,156crore worth Machilipatnam deep-sea port works, the Chief Minister proved that industrial growth is equally important.
With the volunteer system playing key role in the implementation of various welfare schemes in full transparency, the Government has also distributed Rs. 243. 34crore as cash awards to the 2,33, 719 volunteers and felicitating them with Seva Mitra, Seva Ratna and Seva Vajra awards for rendering selfless services.
The month also witnessed the Chief Minister formally launching the programme of de-notification of dotted lands benefiting 97, 471 farmer families and distribution of house site pattas to 50, 793 poor women beneficiaries in the R-5 zone spread over Guntur and NTR districts after getting the nod from the Supreme Court. He also gave nod for issuing Group 1, 2 job notifications to fill up 1000 vacancies.
During his New Delhi trip, the Chief Minister addressed the NITI Aayog Governing Council session explaining about the reforms being implemented in various sectors and steps taken for putting the state on growth path, besides meeting the Union Home Minister Amit Shah and Water Resources Minister Gajendra Singh Shekhawat for discussing State-related issues and seeking their cooperation in the development of AP. He also stole limelight attending the inauguration of the new parliament building in the country’s Capital.
The Chief Minister participated in the Poornahuti of Ashtottara Satha Kundatmaka (108) Chandi, Rudra, Raja Syamala, Sudarshana Sahitha Sri Lakshmi Maha Yagnam and visited the Missionaries of Charity Nirmal Hriday Bhavan, the home for the sick and orphans and interacting with the children and the aged.
On the same day, Party cadre and leaders celebrated four years of YS Jagan Mohan Reddy in office amidst fanfare.
UAE Ambassador in India Abdul Nasser Al Shaali, Consul General of the Federal Republic of Germany in India Michaela Küchler, Police Officers’ Association delegation, Saakshar Bharat Mandal Coordinators, Sikh community leaders and ST Commission Chairman K Ravi Babu were prominent among those who called on the Chief Minister during the month.
