In the past, Jagan accused Chandrababu and Congress of dividing his family

Jagan says he is so pained that his sister Sharmila may not win deposit in Kadapa Lok Sabha

Exposing TDP’s friendliness with the grand old party, Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister and YSRCP chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy said, “Congress is being remote-controlled by Chandrababu Naidu.”

In an interview with India Today, CM Jagan talked about how Naidu-led coterie is contesting against the ruling YSRCP and who are behind his sister Sharmila’s entry into politics.

Speaking to Rajdeep Sardesai of India Today, the chief minister said he is not only fighting the Congress but also fighting the BJP as the latter is also being remote-controlled by Naidu.

Accusing the Congress and TDP of dividing his family, CM Jagan said both Telangana chief minister Revanth Reddy and Chandrababu Naidu are using her (Sharmila) to target him politically. He further said he was not hurt because Sharmila is contesting (as a Congress candidate) but he is hurt that his sister will ‘lose her deposit’ in the May 13 elections.

CM Jagan added that she (Sharmila) should not have joined Congress as it had foisted fabricated cases against their father (former Andhra Pradesh chief minister YS Rajsekhar Reddy) and now using her to divide their family.
