Yellow Media Spitting Venom Against CM Jagan Govt, Spreading Baseless Rumours

 - Sakshi Post

Tadepalli: Urging the opposition leaders to stop falling prey to the misinformation, Andhra Pradesh government advisor and YSRCP general secretary Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy dared Chandrababu Naidu and Pawan Kalyan to point out a single beneficiary in the state who is being denied of welfare benefits by the YSRCP government,.

Speaking to reporters, Sajjala said the chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is following in the footsteps of the People’s leader YS Rajasekhar Reddy and does not discriminate between castes, religion or political affiliation while implementing the welfare programmes.

He said YS Jagan is a man of words who keeps his promises to the electorate. The YSRCP government has fulfilled every promise made in the poll manifesto and people have recognised the commitment of the ruling party towards the development of the state and welfare of the people.

Criticising the yellow media for running a smear campaign against the YS Jagan government, Sajjala said it is unfortunate that a section of media is using their platforms to target the current dispensation. He also said that the TDP-friendly media touched a new low when it launched a malicious campaign against the YS Jagan-led government claiming the government has abandoned 100 welfare programmes introduced by the former TDP regime.

“Former chief minister Chandrababu Naidu should tell the people about his government’s achievements during 2014-18. The yellow media has alleged that the ruling government has dropped 100 welfare programmes of the previous TDP government. Did Naidu fully implement a single welfare scheme?,” Sajjala told reporters.

Highlighting how the YS Jagan government is implementing the welfare schemes in a transparent manner, the YSRCP leader said the opposition leader is unable to digest the effective governance of the ruling party. Having failed to drum up support for the TDP, it’s leaders Naidu and Lokesh are allegedly counting on the party-friendly media to carry their agenda forward, he added.
