What is this Lokesh? Isn't It Inhuman To Get Your Feet Touched By School Girl?

 - Sakshi Post

Vijayawada: YSRCP parliamentary party leader V Vijayasai Reddy slammed the TDP national general secretary Nara Lokesh after an image of a small girl touching his feet went viral on social media.

In the viral image, the TDP leader is seen allowing a small girl, dressed in a school uniform, approaches him and bends down to touch his feet. Lokesh does not stop her and the girl proceeds to touch his feet. Taking to X, Reddy said the girl’s gesture is a sign of respect but the TDP scion should have avoided these theatrics in full public view.

Following the wide circulation of the image, the YSRCP leader called Lokesh's action unacceptable and ‘disrespectful’. He  even accused him of promoting a mindset of slavery among the children.

Reddy said the same TDP leader had criticised the welfare schemes of the YSRCP government including the Amma Vodi scheme. He also said the previous TDP government failed to improve the education system and did not bother to provide better education to the students. The student in the picture is wearing a school uniform provided by the YS Jagan government under the Jagananna Vidya Kanuka scheme, the YSRCP MP added. Under this scheme, the students are provided with Jagananna Vidya Kanuka kits which contain books, uniform sets, shoes, bags, etc.
