Pawan to Allot Jana Sena Quota Seats to TDP Candidates Only
As their alliance takes center stage, a strange drama is unfolding between the Telugu Desam Party (TDP) and Jana Sena Party. The alliance, seemingly in name only has sparked controversy with accusations flying from both sides.
TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu has been accused by Jana Sena leaders and sainiks of playing a double game. Party loyalists have been left disappointed by this so-called game. The main problem is the distribution of seats. Jana Sena leaders are angry because TDP members have been given important positions in their party. Chandrababu's plan to send TDP leaders to join Jana Sena and then help them win seats is the main reason for the controversy.
Recent developments from Jana Sena have seen Pawan finalize key seats for former TDP MLAs who have crossed over to his party. Anjibabu has been granted the Bhimavaram constituency, while Ganta Narahari has been chosen for the Tirupati Assembly seat. Kothapalli Subbarayudi also secured a seat in Narasapuram after switching allegiance from TDP to Jana Sena.
Despite being allocated 24 assembly seats in the alliance, Jana Sena supporters and leaders are finding it hard to accept the limited number of seats granted to them. The recent discussions have revealed that Jana Sena will receive only 3 Assembly seats and 1 Lok Sabha seat from TDP, leaving them with 21 Assembly and two Lok Sabha seats.
