TTD Suspends Technician For Broadcast of Other Channels In Tirumala - Sakshi Post

TIRUPATI: The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanama Board (TTD) on Sunday has suspended a Grade-1 Assistant technician named P Ravi Kumar, for his role in broadcasting three other channels on the hilltop. Along with the suspension orders, a show-cause notice was also issued to AVV Krishna Prasad, Assistant Engineer of the Radio & Broadcasting wing of TTD.

The incident of broadcasting other channels on five LED screens happened on April 22 between 5.12 pm and 6.12 pm. TTD EO Dr KS Jawahar Reddy directed the CVSO Narasimha Kishore to investigate the matter and submit a report.

The vigilance officials inspected the footage in the control room at Asthana Mandapam and Command Control Room and CC cameras of PAC-4 and also other concerned TTD employees.

They identified that the assistant technician Ravi Kumar and his friend Gopikrishna entered the TV section control room of Radio and broadcasting wing. It was identified that after all the staff members left, Gopikrishna was alone in the control room till 5.28 pm, during the period in which the incident occurred.

The annual Bhashyakarla Utsavam in Sri Govinda Raja Swamy temple in Tirupati will be observed from April 26 till May 5 when the Sattumora will be observed.
