Tadipatri: Stepping up his offensive against the TDP-led opposition alliance, Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy launched a blistering attack on TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu on Sunday. He cautioned voters that trusting him in elections would be similar to "putting one's head in the mouth of a tiger" or "awakening Chandramukhi" (character in Rajinikanth-starrer movie with the same name) in him.

Addressing a rally in Tadipatri after kicking off the third phase of his poll campaign, CM Jagan said the upcoming elections is a decisive moment that will shape the state's future for the next five years. He remarked Naidu and the TDP-Jana Sena-BJP combine is coming together with "Super 6” guarantees to deceive the people once again.

"These elections are not just about electing MLAs and MPs; they will decide the future of the next five years," the chief minister said.

The Chief Minister warned that if Naidu is voted to power by mistake all the welfare schemes implemented by his government would be stopped. However, he assured that voting for him would ensure the continuation of these initiatives.

CM Jagan said will Naidu be able to recall any schemes implemented during his 14-year tenure as Chief Minister of the state. He added that the TDP regime not only cheated farmers on loan waivers but also failed to waive off a single rupee of DWCRA (Women's self-help group) loans.
