Tirupati: Tirupati YSRCP MP Dr Maddiala Gurumoorthy regaled the crowd once again on Monday, at the Gangamma Jathara held annually at the Tirupati Tathayagunta Gangamma temple in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

The MP this time took inspiration from Allu Arjun's poster from his upcoming film Pushpa -2 where he was seen dressed as a Matangi and the MP wore a similar outfit and attended the Gangamma Jathara held this year 2023.

Last year he was seen sporting the attire of Lord Venkateswara Swamy during the annual event.

Joining the Gangamma Thalli Adhyatmika Bhakthi Chaitanya Yatra, a grand procession was YSRCP Tirupati MLA Bhumana Karunakar Reddy, and  Gurumoorthy's presence was seen as a highlight of the event.

Devotees and locals took selfies and pictures with MP Gurumoorthy, dressed in the Matangi attire which he willingly obliged.

MP Gurumoorthy walked from Ananta Vedhi to Gangamma Temple, where he sought blessings from Goddess Gangamma.

Tirupati Gangamma Jatara is the annual folk festival celebrated grandly in the Temple Town of Tirupati in Andhra Pradesh.

A week-long event that falls between the first and second weeks of May every year. The festival is an ode to goddess Gangamma, the Gramadevata or principal deity of Tirupati every year. Goddess Gangamma is said to be the sister of lord Venkateshwara and her temple is called Tataiahgunta Gangamma Temple which is located on the  East side of Tirupati city.
