Tension Grips Tadipatri Again as TDP Goes on Offensive

 - Sakshi Post

Anantapur: A day after the poll-related clashes, tension yet again prevailed in Tadipatri constituency on Tuesday. TDP leaders attempted to attack the ruling YSRCP leaders.

The TDP members pelted stones on the residence of YSRCP MLA Kethireddy Pedda Reddy. This led to clashes between the cadres of both TDP and YSRCP. The police intervened in the matter and brough the situation under control. However, several workers including Sub-Inspector Murali Krishna sustained severe injuries in the attack.

On the polling day, a BSF jawan received injuries during the clashes between two groups. TDP leader JC Diwakar Reddy and Kethireddy were involved in a heated exchange of words. The police teams responded to the escalation and dispersed both the groups.
