TDP Leader Atchannaidu Taken Into Preventive Custody In Srikakulam

Former labour minister and TDP leader Kinjarapu Atchannaidu was taken into preventive custody in Srikakulam on Tuesday morning. Police have taken all the measures to see to that there will not be any untoward situation as Rajya Sabha member and YSRCP leader Vijayasai Reddy is going to tour in Nimmada today. Along with ATchannaidu, 12 other TDP members have been arrested.

TDP leader Atchannaidu, who represents Tekkali Assembly constituency, enjoy a stronghold at Nimmada in Srikakulam district.

Police have taken Atchannaidu into preventive custody and he was shifted to  Kotabommali police station. Heavy police force has been deployed in Nimmada. Vijayasai Reddy will visit Mr. Appanna who is contesting as Nimmada Sarpanch Candidate. According to the reports, Appanna was not allowed by the TDP cadres to file his nomination papers for the Panchayat Elections. 

Duvvada Srinivas, YSRCP Tekkali in charge alleged that the family of TDP leader Atchannaidu had threatened Appannna saying that he is going to face problems if he submits his nomination in Nimmada panchayat.
