TDP-Janasena Combine to Set Up Committee for Drafting Poll Manifesto

Vijayawada: The TDP-Janasena combine formally held its first Joint Action Committee (JAC) meeting at a private hotel here on Thursday. Members from from TDP, Atchannaidu, Payyavula Keshav, Yanamala Rama Krishnudu, Pithani Satyanarayana and Nimmala Rama Naidu while Nadendla Manohar, Kandula Durgesh, Palavalasa Yasasvi and Bommi Dinakar from Jana Sena Party (JSP) attended the meeting. 

It is learnt that deliberations revolved around the release of TDP-Janasena combine manifesto. The TDP leader Atchannaidu said henceforth the JAC will meet every fortnight. He added that they will soon form a committee with representatives from both the parties to draft a joint election manifesto. 

They have also discussed a joint action plan for the upcoming elections in the state. The TDP and its ally Jana Sena is expected to launch a joint political campaign for the 2024 Assembly elections and today’s meeting was called to work out the nitty-gritty of it. The leaders from both the parties have decided to hold Aatmeeya Samaweshams in every Assembly segment of the state. 

Earlier today, the TDP’s PAC (Political Affairs Committee) held a meeting under the chairmanship of party’s general secretary Nara Lokesh. The meeting was held to discuss the agenda for the TDP-Janasena alliance’s JAC meeting being held on the same day. The leaders also discussed the scrutiny of voters list ahead of the forthcoming elections.
