This TDP candidate has record break criminal cases against him

Eluru: TDP candidate from Denduluru assembly constituency Chintamaneni Prabhakar is going to May 13 polls with the highest number of criminal cases pending against him. 

Prabhakar has been booked under various cases including gambling, forgery and cheating. According to the election affidavit submitted, the TDP candidate has 93 criminal cases against him across various police stations including a rowdy sheet. 
 
Prabhakar has been sentenced to jail for assaulting the former minister Vatti Vasanth Kumar. He is eligible to contest the election as he’s appealed against the verdict in a High Court.  

Kolleru forest department officials, Musunuru Tahsildar Vanajakshi, Mining employees, Traffic police and ordinary citizens have also filed complaints against him in various police stations. 

Atrocity case against Putta Mahesh 

A case has been registered against Eluru TDP Lok Sabha candidate Putta Mahesh Kumar under the provisions of the Scheduled Castes and Scheduled Tribes (Prevention of Atrocities) Act. He had abused Chinnagurivigala Yellaiah in the name of caste and threatened him under the Chapadu police station limits of YSR Kadapa district. The incident took place in 2014 and the FIR reference number is 103/2014. The audio clip of Mahesh abusing Yellaiah had gone viral on social media.. 

Gambling case against Badeti Chanti

Badeti Chanti, TDP’s Eluru assembly candidate is well-known for his love for card games. He goes as far as Visakhapatnam to play this game. Two years ago, the TDP leader was caught while playing the card game in Bheemili. A case was registered against him and the FIR number is 66/2022
