Sonu Sood To Set Up Oxygen Plants In Kurnool, Nellore Govt Hospitals

Actor Sonu Sood who has been helping the needy people since the Covid pandemic started has now decided to set up oxygen plants for  the requirements of emergency patients. Recently, he announced that he will be installing oxygen plants at hospitals in different states.

Currently, his team are setting up an oxygen plant at Kurnool Government hospital after which he will be setting them in Atmakur, Nellore in the State of Andhra Pradesh.

For setting up the plants, Sonu Sood had already taken necessary permissions from the municipal commissioner, the collector and other relevant authorities. Locals were happy as the Oxygen plant will help by providing oxygen to the COVID patients undergoing treatment in the  Kurnool and Nellore district hospitals. 

District Collector S Ramsundar Reddy said, " We are really thankful to Sonu Sood for his kind gesture. The oxygen plant arranged by him will help in treating 150 to 200 Covid patients at Kurnool Government Hospital every day."

Sonu Sood took to his Twitter and said that these oxygen plants at Kurnool and Nellore will be operational from June.

The second wave of coronavirus has infected many people and the number of Covid-19 positive cases have been rapidly rising. Sonu Sood who has been in public because of his social work had tested positive in April. He later got vaccinated and launched Sanjeevani - A Shot of Life, an initiative to encourage people to get vaccinated against the novel coronavirus and for raising awareness about the inoculation drive in the country.
