Skill Development Scam Case: Andhra HC Reserves Verdict on Naidu’s Regular Bail Plea

Amaravati: The Andhra Pradesh High Court reserved its verdict on TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu’s regular bail petition in skill development scam case on Thursday. 

Arguments concluded before Justice Mallikarjuna Rao on the regular bail petition. The counsels representing Naidu had submitted his medical reports to the court. According to the medical reports, the 73-year-old Naidu has a cardiac problem and his heart has enlarged due to irregular blood supply to it and his coronary arteries are clogged too.

Currently, Naidu is out on bail on medical grounds till November 28.

During today’s hearing, the lawyers of Naidu appealed to the court to grant him regular bail on medical grounds while taking his health condition into account. While Additional Advocate General Ponnavolu Sudhakar Reddy representing the CID in the court vehemently opposed the bail and said the opposition leader is accused of corruption in several other cases. He told the court that the judiciary can send a strong message by giving a fair judgement in the case. 

Reddy also said that the petitioner (Naidu) has violated the conditions of the temporary bail and the police have also filed a case in this regard. The high court reserved its verdict after the arguments were concluded in the case.
