Skill Development Scam Case: Andhra HC Adjourns Hearing on Vundavalli’s Plea for CBI Probe
Guntur: Andhra Pradesh High Court on Wednesday heard the PIL plea in the multi-crore skill development scam case. Former MP Vundavalli Arun Kumar had filed a PIL in the high court seeking a CBI probe into the skill development scam case.
The former MP told the court that 14 respondents in the case could not receive the notices for various reasons. He also said some of the respondents live in Telugu states while others are residents of Maharashtra and Delhi.
Vundavalli informed the court that the respondents will be notified by publishing a notice in the newspapers. He has also filed a memo in the court. After hearing the petitioner’s response, the court adjourned the hearing for a week.
A total of 44 persons were added as respondents including former chief minister Chandrababu Naidu and TDP state president Atchannaidu in the PIL filed by Vundavalli. The high court had served notices to all the respondents, however, the notices did not reach some of the respondents.
