'Shouting Won't Get You Votes, Pawan Kalyan'
Guntur: YSRCP minister RK Roja took a swipe at Pawan Kalyan for accepting a meagre 24 seats as part of the seat-sharing deal with the coalition partner TDP. She said the actor-turned-politician established a political party a decade ago and is still taking baby steps in politics.
Responding to the objectionable remark made by Pawan Kalyan at the TDP-Janasena first joint meeting at Tadepalligudem on Wednesday, Roja said the Jana Sena leader is so frustrated that he could not negotiate a minimum of 30 seats for the party.
Roja remarked that Pawan has no right to criticise the chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy. She added that the same leader did not question when his coalition partner Chandrababu Naidu was in the seat of power.
“Pawan Kalyan has done injustice to the janasainiks by agreeing to contest the assembly elections from only 24 constituencies. The opposition leader should know that shouting in the public meeting will not translate into votes,” Roja added.
