Shocker: Kesineni Nani Denied Ticket; Chandrababu Orders Him To Stay Away
Chandrababu Naidu-mark politics is back. Two-time Vijayawada MP Kesineni Nani has been denied the ticket in the forthcoming general elections. Nani is one of the three MP candidates who won against YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's wave in 2019.
In his Facebook post, Kesneni Nani revealed that Chandrababu sent him a message that the party would field someone else for the Vijayawada MP seat. He said Naidu wanted him to avoid the Tiruvur public meeting to be held on 7th January to be attended by Chandrababu.
Nani was asked to stay away from active participation in the party's programmes. Kesineni Nani said he would obey the party chief's guidelines. Nani was removed from his role as the in-charge of the Tiruvur meeting, with the responsibility being assigned to another individual.
Nani said former minister Alapati Raja, NTR district president Nettem Raghuram, and Krishna district president Konikalla Narayana were delegated by Babu to convey the message that Nani should refrain from participating in TDP events.
The move comes just a day after the fight erupted between Kesineni Nani's followers versus Kesineni Chinni's followers. This is a big blow to Kesineni Nani and co in the Vijayawada Parliament seat. This could backfire against the TDP and Chandrababu in the coming parliament elections.
