Shock To Janasena in Tirupati

 - Sakshi Post

The allocation of the Tirupati assembly seat to Janasena has sparked discontent within the opposition alliance, with former TDP MLA Sugunamma being the latest to express dissatisfaction with the TDP's decision to award the ticket to Arani Srinivas from Janasena.

Sugunamma, who had hoped for the Tirupati assembly seat, expressed her disappointment publicly in front of the media. She highlighted her past contributions to the TDP and questioned her not being chosen for the seat. She also called for a reconsideration of the allocation. Sugunamma even questioned the validity of surveys conducted by TDP chief Chandrababu and expressed doubts about the party cadre's support for the selected candidate.

Sugunamma further urged Chandrababu and Pawan Kalyan to revisit the decision regarding the Tirupati ticket. She suggested that the main leaders of TDP and Janasena should reconsider the choice of location for the Assembly seat. She cautioned against allocating tickets to recent party entrants, citing potential public resistance.

While Sugunamma clarified that she had no intention of running as an independent candidate, she urged the alliance leadership to consider the importance of recognizing her family's contributions to Tirupati and make a decision.
