Sharmila to End Up as Last Weapon in Naidu’s Arsenal: Sajjala
Tadepalli: Hitting back at the newly appointed Andhra Pradesh Congress president YS Sharmila, the state government advisor and YSRCP leader Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy on Sunday said that the aim of the Congress leader is to install the TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu as the next chief minister after the ensuing elections in the state. He added that during the last elections, "None of the Above" (or NOTA) got more votes than the Congress.
Addressing a press conference here, Sajjala said the language used by her in criticising the state government is not appropriate. He said that the chief minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy is committed and carrying on the legacy of his father and former chief minister YS Rajasekhar Reddy as a true successor to his political legacy.

Sajjala came down heavily on Congress for attacking the ruling party. He told the reporters that after the tragic demise of YSR, the grand old party started creating trouble for his family. He said that the former Congress veteran Ghulam Nabi Azad revealed that the party foisted false cases against CM YS Jagan. It is the same party which entered the family name of YSR in the FIR copy, he added.

Questioning the logic behind Sharmila’s crossover from Telangana politics to Andhra politics, Sajjala said, what does she know about the Congress party? He reminded Sharmila that the same party refused to recognise her in Telangana. The YSRCP leader also said that it’s everyone’s knowledge why Congress sent her to Andhra Pradesh. He added that she would unintentionally end up beneficial to Naidu’s party.
