Serious Doubts Over Naidu’s Medical Report: Sajjala
Amaravati: Andhra Pradesh government advisor Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy found fault with the memo regarding the medical report of TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu which was filed by Naidu’s lawyers before the high court on Wednesday. The TDP leader has been diagnosed with an increased risk of heart disease and vitiligo on face and nose, according to the medical reports.
Addressing a press conference here on Thursday, Sajjala empathised with Naidu and said if the opposition leader is suffering from heart ailments, he should have approached the judiciary with the request and the court would grant him relief. He reiterated that Naidu is currently on bail in the skill development scam case on medical grounds.
“While the opposition leader Naidu was lodged in (Rajahmundry central) jail, he and his party kept talking about the health problems and when he walked out of the jail, Naidu took out a huge rally and engaged in party-related affairs,” Sajjala lamented.
Reading from Naidu’s medical report which recommended that wherever the opposition leader goes, an ACLS ambulance with a doctor and technician should follow him, Sajjala raised doubts if the report was prepared by doctors or political leaders. He said if Naidu requires immediate medical intervention then the doctors should not waste time in providing treatment to him. The government advisor suspected the language of the medical report and demanded that it should be placed before the members of the medical board for further discussion.
