The Second Phase of the Samajika Sadhikara Yatra Commences Today
Led by Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy, the Andhra Pradesh state government has undertaken remarkable initiatives to empower and uplift SC, ST, BC, and minority communities. The efforts spearheaded by CM YS Jagan's administration have given rise to the Samajika Sadhikara Yatra in the state.
Commencing on Wednesday, the second phase of this journey is orchestrated by the YSRCP, with the aim of enlightening the public about the positive transformations brought about for SC, ST, BC, and minority communities under YS Jagan's leadership.
Scheduled to continue until the 30th of this month, the Samajika Sadhikara Yatra will traverse Narasannapeta in Srikakulam district, Ponnur in Guntur district, and Hindupuram in Sri Sathya Sai district on Wednesday.
This phase of the yatra is set to unfold across 39 constituencies, building on the success of the initial 35 constituencies covered in the first phase.
A notable feature of the yatra is the active participation of leaders representing SC, ST, BC, and minority communities. Throughout the journey, these leaders will articulate the measures taken to foster the development of minorities and enhance the economic well-being of these communities during the four and a half years since YS Jagan assumed the role of Chief Minister.
The first phase of the Samajika Sadhikara Yatra, launched on October 26th, achieved significant success. Andhra Pradesh stands as an exemplary model in the country for its commitment to the welfare of its citizens under YS Jagan's leadership.
Over the past four years, CM YS Jagan has allocated a total of Rs. 4.69 lakh crores for the development and financial assistance of the underprivileged, with Rs. 2.35 lakh crores provided through Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) and an additional Rs. 2.34 lakh crores through non-DBT channels. This exceptional scale of welfare distribution sets Andhra Pradesh apart, showcasing the state's commitment to the well-being of its people.
In addition to this, the state has attained the top position in the growth rate of Gross State Domestic Product (GSDP), serving as a benchmark for the progress of states nationwide.
