Schedule for CM Jagan’s Oath-taking Ceremony Announced
Vijayawada: Announcing the schedule of the oath-taking ceremony, YSRCP minister Botsa Satyanarayana said party chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy will take the oath of office and secrecy as the chief minister of Andhra Pradesh on June 9, 2024.
Addressing the media persons here on Thursday, Botsa said CM is a man of words and he keeps his promises. He expressed confidence that the ruling YSRCP will retain power with a landslide victory in the state Assembly elections. Notably, the counting of votes will take place on June 4.
During thepoll campaign, CM Jagan has stated that he would make Visakhapatnam his home and stay in the city and he also added that he would conduct his swearing-in ceremony after the elections in the port city.
YSRCP minister stated that CM Jagan has brought revolutionary changes in the education and medicine sectors and the people of the state want to see him back in the seat of power. He said the ruling party is going to achieve its goal of Why Not 175 Assembly seats in the elections. He added that the state is witnessing the aura of previous chief ministers NTR and Dr. YS Rajasekhar Reddy.
Targeting the TDP for launching a series of violent attacks on the ruling party supporters and party cadre, Botsa said after coming to power, YSRCP will rein in the violators of law. He added that the state government is exercising restraint in dealing with post poll violence.
