Puri Jagannadh, Thaman Praise YS Jagan For Launching 1,088 New Ambulances

AMARAVATI: The Andhra pradesh government's move of launching 1,088 new ambulances as a part of providing advanced health-care services to people during emergency situations is being complimented by celebrities and people all over the country. After renowned television journalist Rajdeep Sardesai and UK's Deputy High Commissioner Dr Andrew Fleming, ace Tollywood film director Puri Jagannadh and music director SS Thaman joined the list of admirers for Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy's new scheme. The two celebrities took to their twitter handles and praised YS Jagan for extending the helping hand to people during this COVID-19 crisis time.

Both the celebrities felt that when the whole world is struggling to overcome the coronavirus, AP CM is implementing welfare schemes to benefit the people of the state defying all adversities.

Puri Jagannadh tweeted saying, 'hats off' to YS Jagan, who always thinks about the welfare of the people.

The ace director said that at a time the whole world is battling with COVID-19 pandemic, AP CM inaugurated 1,088 (108and 104) services to avoid any loss of lives or any delay in shifting patients to hospitals in emergencies like accidents, serious health issues and disasters.

Music director SS Taman also hailed the launch of 1,088 vehicles in a single day.

Earlier, leading Journalist Rajdeep Sardesai has appreciated the efforts of CM for bringing in new 108 and 104 ambulance services to help people during emergency situations. He tweeted saying that southern states were in the forefront in terms of implementing anti-COVID-19 measures when compared to the rest of the country.

AP CM YS Jagan flagged off 1,088 ambulances on Wednesday at an event near Vijayawada Benz Circle. The new ambulances were equipped with modern life support systems as part of the state's health reforms to provide advanced health-care services to all the people.

 YS Jagan also inaugurated NATCO cancer block at the Guntur GGH hospital through video conferencing on Wednesday.
