Jana Sena Party workers shock Pawan Kalyan; Dissent Leaders Protest in Eluru

 - Sakshi Post

Eluru: Janasena is facing a fresh hurdle in Eluru constituency as the janasainiks staged a protest over the seat allocation to TDP. As part of the seat-sharing deal, the TDP declared Badeti Radha Krishna as its candidate from Eluru assembly constituency.

Janasainiks have expressed their displeasure as Pawan Kalyan seemingly failed to prevail upon the TDP leadership and retain the Eluru seat. The party cadre sat on a dharna under the leadership of Nagireddy Kashi Naresh at the party office by wearing black ribbons on Wednesday. They also boycotted the TDP–Janasena’s first joint public meeting at Tadepalligudem.

The opposition parties’ Tadepalligudem meeting proved to be a damp squib as party cadres from Krishna district skipped the event. As the TDP leadership did not give any clarity over the candidature of Avanigadda leader Mandali Budda Prasad, the party workers from the region also stayed away from the public meeting. Similarly, Janasena supporters from Pedana assembly constituency were also found missing from the meeting as they are unhappy with the leadership over the seat-sharing agreement.
