Pawan Kalyan's Speech: Full of Shouts and Screams but Lacks Substance

Pawan Kalyan's speech at the TDP-Jana Sena public meeting held on Tuesday at Tadepalligudam was a huge disaster. It was reminiscent of his recent films that failed to rake in money at the box office, turning out to be loss ventures for his producers. Visibly frustrated, Pawan expressed dismay as the party could only contest a meagre 25 out of 175 Assembly seats in the state, a decade after its inception.

Failing to speak with maturity, Pawan resorted to personal attacks. The actor-part-time politician's words have drawn significant reprimands from the public, who note his reliance on shouts and screams rather than objective criticism. Many netizens have commented on the visible agitation displayed by Pawan during his speech.

While Pawan may be a star on the brink of losing his lustre in films, his political role seems limited to that of a sidekick or even a stand-up comedian. His comments regarding CM YS Jagan reflect this shift. Pawan showed his true colours. By showing disrespect towards the head of the state who is elected by the people with a thumping majority, he portrayed his hatred and bitterness.

Political analysts found fault with Pawan. They also point out the reasons for Pawan's frustration. Pawan who contested in two Assembly seats - Bhimavaram and Gajuwaka - failed to win in either of the two seats in the 2019 general elections. Despite contesting the recent (Dec 2023) Telangana Assembly elections in alliance with the BJP, the Jana Sena Party failed to secure even deposits. In Andhra Pradesh, Pawan aims to rely on the TDP and BJP in hopes of securing deposits, at the very least.

On the other hand, Pawan is unable to control the revolt of Jana Sena party leaders and cadre against his unilateral decisions. Jana Sena leaders who lost their seats to the TDP as part of the alliance are openly displaying their anger and angst against Pawan. Instead of giving a logical answer to them, Pawan asked his leaders and workers to not question him and not give him any suggestions. This is the quintessential quality of a dictator and politician with no maturity. These comments are expected to backfire as several Jana Sena leaders are shocked with Pawan's speech and comments. 

All these once again indicate Pawan's mental stability and condition. His speech lacked substance and hence he just filled it with screams and shouts, opining common people and several political analysts.

#PawanKalyan’s comments on CM @ysjagan are quite funny. Even people and his own party workers are taking his comments very lightly.

Visibly, Pawan looks frustrated, probably due to fear of failure that is in very near sight.
