No Relief in Sight Even as Southwest Monsoon Arrives in Andhra Pradesh

Amaravati: Giving much needed relief from the sweltering heat, southwest monsoon knocked on the door of Andhra Pradesh on Sunday. The Indian Meteorological Department said monsoon has entered the south coastal region, however, did not rule out the likelihood of a heat wave in many parts of the State till June 15. 

The weatherman said the monsoon is spreading over Sriharikota in Tirupati district and Chittoor district. This year the monsoon has hit the Telugu state four days after entering Kerala.
