No link between Jagan & BJP: CBN’s Self Goal

 - Sakshi Post

TDP chief and former chief minister Chandrababu Naidu scored a self goal when he said his party and BJP have been working together for nearly four decades. The TDP had previously alleged that there were links between the NDA government at the Centre and the YS Jagan government in Andhra Pradesh. However, in a recent interview to the national English news channel, Naidu admitted that YSRCP was nowhere in the equation between the BJP and TDP in state-centre politics.

Naidu called the TDP-BJP alliance a “natural alliance” for the sake of developing the nation. To a query on the number of seats the TDP-BJP-JanaSena is going to win in the upcoming Lok Sabha and Assembly elections, Naidu claimed that the opposition alliance will win 160 seats in Assembly election and 24 seats in Lok Sabha elections.

Naidu’s reply cracked up the interviewer Arnab Goswami who said he cannot believe this is going to be a reality given the ground situation in Andhra Pradesh ( all pre-poll surveys have predicted a resounding victory for the ruling YSRCP in the state polls).
