In a recent survey conducted by the leading national media channel Times Now-ETG, the ruling party YSRCP is set to sweep the upcoming elections in the state of Andhra Pradesh.

The survey which covered the entire state as well as the rest of the country revealed that the YSRCP is likely to win 21-22 Lok Sabha seats in Andhra Pradesh. This comes a significant boost for the party which has been in power under the leadership of Chief Minister YS Jaganmohan Reddy

The survey findings suggest that even a united opposition comprising the TDP (Telugu Desam Party), BJP, and Jana Sena would be unable to pose a serious challenge to the YSRCP juggernaut. The survey indicates that the BJP may not secure a single Lok Sabha seat in the state, while the TDP and Jana Sena alliance is likely to win only 3-4 seats.

Analysts attribute YSRCP's dominant position to the party's successful implementation of its election promises and the implementation of welfare schemes under CM Jagan's leadership. The survey revealed that the CM has fulfilled 99.5% of his pre-election commitments which has earned him the trust and confidence of the people.

CM Jagan asked the people to vote based on the government's performance. The people of Andhra Pradesh seem to have responded well to this. Across the state, people can see improvements in areas like infrastructure, healthcare, and social welfare. These visible changes have made the party more popular.

In contrast, the opposition parties, TDP, BJP, and Jana Sena, appear to have lost morale and are now engaged in a desperate struggle for political survival. The survey results have dealt a significant blow to their hopes of mounting a credible challenge to the YSRCP's dominance in the upcoming elections.

As Andhra Pradesh gears up for the 2024 elections, the recent Times Now-ETG survey reveals that YSRCP has a strong lead suggesting that the party is well-positioned to retain power in Andhra Pradesh.
