Huge Setback To TDP: MP Kesineni Nani Meets CM Jagan!

 - Sakshi Post

Amaravati: Vijayawada MP Kesineni Srinivas (Nani) called on Chief Minister YS Jagan Mohan Reddy at the Camp Office here on Wednesday.

In his recent Facebook post, Kesneni Nani revealed that TDP chief Chandrababu Naidu sent him a message that the party would field someone else for the Vijayawada MP seat. He said Naidu wanted him to avoid the Tiruvur public meeting, which was held on 7th January and was attended by Naidu.

Nani was asked to stay away from active participation in the party's programmes. Vijayawada MP said he would obey the party chief's guidelines. Nani was removed from his role as the in-charge of the Tiruvur meeting, with the responsibility being assigned to another individual.

Nani said former minister Alapati Raja, NTR district president Nettem Raghuram, and Krishna district president Konikalla Narayana were delegated by Babu to convey the message that Nani should refrain from participating in TDP events.

The move comes just a day after a scuffle broke out between Kesineni Nani's followers and Kesineni Chinni's followers. This is a big blow to Kesineni Nani and co in the Vijayawada Parliament seat. This could backfire against the TDP and Chandrababu in the coming parliament elections.

Vijayawada MP Kesineni Srinivas, popularly known as Kesineni Nani, was elected as MP from Vijayawada Lok Sabha constituency in 2014 on a TDP ticket and was re-elected from the same constituency in 2019.
